Hello Community! The AlmaLinux OS Foundation is announcing the availability of AlmaLinux 9.5 Beta “Teal Serval” for all supported architectures: Intel/AMD (x86_64) ARM64 (aarch64) IBM PowerPC (ppc64le) IBM Z (s390x) Beta ISOs are available at repo.almalinux.org. A usual reminder: this is a BETA release. It should not be used for production installations. The provided upgrade instructions should not be used on production machines unless you don’t mind if something breaks. If you are looking to see how things are going to work in stable, you are on the right track.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
