In every state in the USA, if you are waiting in line when polls close you have the right to remain in line and cast your vote, regardless of how long it takes. If you were told to go home because the polls were closed and they weren’t accepting further voters, then you were lied to.

Cool story, too bad it’s inaccurate. In every state in the USA, if you are waiting in line when polls close you have the right to remain in line and cast your vote, regardless of how long it takes.
