Cat sounds easier, but dogs get to go places…
I think I’ll stick to cat, though, since I don’t need a human in order to poop and I’m less expected to do tricks and I’m cuter and don’t smell like a dog.

Although, I’m not sure if he has the employable skills required to feed me. 🤔
Cat, I would rule with iron claws and leave all horizontal surfaces bereft of all movable objects.
