    It’s paywalled for me, what does this mean for crackerland? Would they need to ask China to access this kinds of tech?
    This is what soft power looks like, and the US can’t do anything about it

      The process just involves buying the rights to using patented technology. So American companies would have to buy the rights from Chinese companies.
