Hi guys, I’ve been a user of a non foss browser (kiwi) and from a foss browser (bromite, Cromite, fennec, iceraven).
The thing is that I’m looking for browser that support adblock. And also that the accessibility option it’s well “optimized”. In all of previous browsers, I scale the font to be bigger, but nothing happen… And worked on another browsers (vanilla chromium and ecosia for ex.)
Have a BlackBerry Keyone
Waterfox is a privacy respecting fork of FF that is available on both Desktop & Mobile.
Desktop versions are on the website. Android version is on the Aurora store.
I was using Firefox before, but the handling of ram management and battery consumption wasn’t good either
Thanks, but I’m using Pale Moon as an alternative
No idea what kind of phone that is, but Fennec and Mull too have support for UBlock Origin, meaning near perfect adblock. Only all the various cookiebanners go through tbh.
So you want websites to scale text only?
While there seems to be no setting in Fennec/Mull/Firefox, this addon works well!
Adding to this comment, the OP may want to be cautious about Firefox specifically. The Mozilla team has been pushing more and more anti-privacy “features” for some years now (perhaps due to Google’s influence). Its forks, however and thankfully, try to fix those issues.
And regarding Mull specifically, and this may be an issue with my specific environment but I think it’s worth noting, from my tests, downloading it from Aurora Store makes it crash on launch, while downloading from F-Droid store’s default repository works just fine, so also beware where you get your browser from.Mull is built by DivestOS. Add their repo, it is in the F-Droid forum thread “known repositories”. There you always get the current version.
Thanks! Will check it.
Thanks
