Not surprising to see this though, Joel always approaches every political issue as a philosophical exercise to figure out using the correct rhetorical strategy, a neat little game to solve. So of course he doesn’t see the historical atrocities that Cheney and co are responsible for as real, there’s a bigger bad on the horizon so it’s all just a trolley problem.
