    I thought passkeys would make password managers obsolete for any authentication where a passkey is used. Maybe I’m not understanding something.

      Bitwarden is going to support storing passkeys soon™, so I guess they wouldn’t.

          yeah, me neither. I’m yet to figure out whether it’s actually better better, or “we companies say it’s better” better, heh.

            https://www.passkeys.io/ is a site that lets you try them. My phone is now the holder of a vital key, and my laptop will talk to my phone to see if I can login. No idea what happens if I change phones.
