It probably looks awesome, don’t stop wearing it. Tan looks really good when done well. Just hard to wear solid tan, like a suit. It’s better when broken up (e.g. wear a tan top or bottom but not both) or accented with darker browns
Don’t worry about what they’re saying, tan chore jackets are totally in style again. When I was in high school, my tan bomber jacket got me more compliments than any other piece of clothing and that was just a few years ago
