@crossgolf_rebel@fediversenews My understanding was Misskey et al channels aren’t federated but I would be thrilled to learn they do in fact have a federated groups functionality.

I’m pleased to see some progress at https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/19059 and I can appreciate it’s not something you would want to rush.
