I have never seen so many racist comments against Eastern Europeans as from supposedly leftist communities like Hexbear or Lemmygrad (unless they preach imperialist rachism).
They don’t have any. Their post history is just a bad meme about tankies loving Putin and a video about how the spooky scary Gravel Institute (remember that?) “lies about Ukraine”.
That’s what you see through Hexbear (there’s a bug rn that doesn’t show post history correctly across instances). Not that the rest gives any clue wtf they’re talking about.
I think they just think that saying stuff like “there’s a lot of Ukrainian nazis” is “racist against Eastern Europeans” and until they say otherwise I’m going to go on believing that.
(To be fair to them I have in my time seen MLs say things that I’d consider to be racist against Ukrainians, one very extreme guy on a server I’m in regularly says a slur against them and the admins are totally fine with it which is one of many points of contention I have with that server, but Ive never seen that sort of thing here).
