If it’s 100 degrees out, does your boss have to give you a break? Probably not.

The US doesn't have federal heat protections. A standard would save lives.

Just watch the reports it’s happening across the USA in different states. This is why I’m a huge supporter of make sure to take care of your health because your employer can replace you.

In my young adulthood I dug ditches and framed houses for 8 hours per day in 110 degree heat. We got 3 breaks the entire day, two 10 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch. It was… unpleasant.

He doesn’t have to, but he probably should, if he wants future value from you as a non-dead worker.

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
