Thanks and congratulations on successful upgrade! What does the hide post button do?
You click hide, then on the front page there’s a filter that looks like an eye to not show them.

loving the upgrade, only questionis about the hide/unhide function. does it only work for admins?

It should for everyone. There’s a filter on the front page for showing / hiding things.
