One thing we can all agree on, I hope, is that this technology must never, never be made accessible to the west (until imperialism as a world system is thoroughly defeated, decolonization within the imperial cores is under way, and capital is on its way out as well).

While it’s just a step closer towards viable cryogenics, if such a possibility becomes available to the neocons, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say it may as well be all Joever (for the rest of humanity).

I think we’re still safe on that for now. Not to downplay what i’m sure is an impressive scientific achievement, and admittedly i’m no expert on this subject, but usually these kinds of articles tend to get a little ahead of themselves with the scifi predictions, at least they do in my field. But i appreciate how optimistic the author is.

How? If you dont put the body on ice soon enough there is no amount of tech that can bring back a half rotten corpse. Also would having and unnaturally long lived ruling class just radicalize people more?

The implied reasoning was supposed to be that they’d be even more likely than they already are now, to just nuke or otherwise exterminate the rest of humanity and be done with it.

Bring Stalin back to life and give him a nice park view apartment near a pond he can enjoy. Also lots of books. He deserves an enjoyable retirement.

When you get out and start talking to people and doing things again, you’ll shake off the rust. I’ve gone through multiple periods of cognitive decline and recovery because of depression.
