Habit, i don’t sideload stuff unless it’s important.
Get Obtainium (downloads directly from sources like Github/Codeberg/etc) or Neo Store (downloads from F-Droid) and you’ll get notified about updates.
Honestly curious, why is that an issue? The apk link is right there.
I don’t mind an apk, but it is a bit of a pain to keep it updated.
