I took my 17 year old niece and some of her friends to the mall in my Lightning. They loved the frunk when I put all their bags in there. I said “my frunk is going to be a bit smaller soon when my CT gets here.”

I didn’t expect the negative reaction at this point, but they all basically told me I was awful for buying it. The only one who gave a reason was that it is incredibly unsafe with no crumple zone, any occupant gets severely hurt in a crash even if the truck looks fine. Then that’s all they talked about, how unsafe the CT was, until I dropped them off at home.

Had one next to me on the road like 2 weeks ago and holy hell it’s just… like I had to hold back laughter that shit looks like someone took the drawing their 4 year old made of a car on their fridge and had someone try and render that into a 3D object. I don’t understand how someone could want that.

I should study that site to improve my impersonations of fanboy dipshits. It’s hard for me to believe they are real people speaking unironically. It seems like some kind of elaborate hoax site.

I saw one on the road for the first time 2 weeks ago and it was straight up disgusting. I’m a car hobbyist kinda guy (I know) and I thought it was a fuckin abomination. Looks awful in person. Significantly worse than a lot of the media released, and it didn’t look great there.

It’s very helpful that the worst people in the world are visibly sorting themselves into a recognizable warning sign for normal people though.
