stop using google. No wonder they get away with everything. people keep using them.
Any recommendations? I use firefox, but haven’t quite moved from google search yet. Last I heard DuckDuckGo was doing some shady stuff, but that was a while ago
there are a few; qwant, ddg, ecosia, startpage, searx etc. They’re all pretty good.
As for the shady stuff, what was it? was it that the ceo (i think) was in bed with the advertising industry? If so, people change. He may well have been in bed with them, but from what I have seen, he’s not anymore. Anyway, there are lots of other search engines/agregators available.
