CEOs cite the need to downsize in a rough economy, but it seems corporations are doing better than ever.

And they have no idea what historically happens in these situations?

They do. That’s why they engineered culture wars to pit us against each other.

It’s always worked. “Divide et impera” is a Latin phrase for a reason, it was how Philippus II of Macedonia described how he conquered a large part of current Greece.

I think we should just do a free-for-all, and a takedown will be worth the rank in points…?

And yeah, loads of billionaires keep away from any sort of attention, because they’re probably aware of the guillotines.

I think any such system should be non heirarchial, on principle.

Heiarchies are a root cause of the current issues.

I’m glad this financial news source is calling this out. Surprised - but glad.

Oligarchical shortsightedness is very interesting. And not very wise, in my opinion.

It’s only slightly bumpy if you miss that spot between the vertebrae or if the blade isn’t heavy enough or hoisted high enough into the air.

and you aren’t buying parts of their companies to share the wealth. sad. you can even get partial shares w/o commissions now.

When you buy a share of equity in a corporation that means you own m/nth of the company where n is the number of stock share issued, m is the shares of stock you own. Nothing is stopping you from being a shareholder except you wanna buy those fancy things. Read “The millionaire next door”. We drive 10 y.o.Toyotas, shop at wal-mart, cut our own hair, and buy parts of businesses. You don’t?
