Its predecessor (CSGO) has been free since 2018. CS:GO was replaced by CS2 back in September 2023 (Basically the same game with an upgraded graphics engine) and has always been free to play.
There is a “Prime” upgrade to make matchmaking slightly more tolerable, but that’s still 15$. No idea why the bot picked this up.
Pretty sure he was just joking. This just looks like a small glitch or maybe the api it was using got changed.
