      DS9 Spoilers (not sure if this is needed but just to be safe, haha)

      Yeah, I rewatched the two parter fairly recently and while it’s still great, it’s pretty depressing how optimistic it feels. If it happened in our timeline Bell would be killed in the riots, a few liberals would change their social media profiles for two days, the right wing press would smear him by talking about how he was caught smoking weed in high school or some shit and then the world would move on with nothing changing :doomer:
