Honestly this would be pretty gourmet if you spread the mayo, go with two square Ritz instead one a round one, and cut the cheese/spam into square.
And stack it like:

I like musubi, but the price of Spam is ridiculous right now. I’ll stick to my other choice of lips and asshole scraped from the very bottom of the barrel for now, bologna.

I live in europe now but I grew up in the states and american cheese is like an ultraprocessed hug from my ancestors
American cheese isn’t even “ultra processed”. It’s basically just cheddar with a couple edible chemicals added, one being a salt IIRC. Nile Red did a video on it

Sushi rice, saute or grill the spam to carmeliize, nori wrap…thats it. Maybe eel sauce. easy peasy.
The Hawaiian cooks I had used the can to mold the rice, eel sauce, then placed spam over the top, sliced to shape, the nori wrap.
