No it’s against slavery, which is unpaid labour for people who will most likely mistreat and abuse you. It’s clearly very different.
Slavery is when the slave owner is mean. Its not slavery when the slave owner is nice
Is it even possible for a slave owner to be mean if they let you use their ping pong table, bean bag chair, and coffee pot?
Unpaid work is abuse, unless everyone in the organization is also voluntary.
It’s a charity so chances are very few people there get paid.
Charities make huge dollars, and the people at the top usually get paid like it, too.
sorta like a plantation, except no food or housing.
They’re fighting human rights? Well at least they’re honest.
