The failed presidential candidate and Republican politician John McCain was literally on the ground in Ukraine rallying supporters for the coup. It was extremely obvious. The there was also the Nuland “fuck the EU” leaked phone call.

Imagine if some senior Chinese politician showed up in Mexico and started rallying supporters for an anti-USA coup. US citizens, liberals, conservatives, would lose their minds. Yet they do that in Ukraine, and it’s fine. Biggest hypocrites on earth.

But have you considered that when the west does this stuff it’s good and wholesome because it’s done in the name of freedom and democracy.

The fun part about being called a conspiracy theorist by liberals is that contrary to tinfoil hat reactionaries we often get to see the state boast about what it did after some time

The less fun part is seeing that liberals never change their views when it happens

Indeed, pretty much everything we’ve been saying about the war in Ukraine from the start has now been admitted by the western media. Yet, liberals are simply unable to walk back their positions and admit being wrong.

it’ll never not be funny to point out how they share that similarity with the CHUDs they consider themselves superior to. Ive played mad-libs with some of their diatribes to hilarious effect.

You mean to tell me that I just had a whole nother lemmy.ml MB/FC struggle session with some lib over the Grayzone’s coverage of the coup, while The Paper of Record was admitting it?

This is why I’ve started hunting out mainstream sources for everything. Any time you present anything that’s not mediabias approved, they just derail the whole discussion making it about the source. Luckly, mainstream media does have a lot of the same information, just takes them a bit longer to get there and you have to do more hinting up front.

I think the latter is very plausible. It looks like Russia is taking territory rapidly now that they broke through Aveevka. So, it’s possible they’re gonna reach these bases shortly, and US doesn’t want Russia to be shaping the narrative on this.

If the citizens fully support them with the atrocities they do so far, why wouldn’t they go fully mask off? No one will do anything about that either.

Because their lib audience thinks it’s good. Libs support all the alphabet agencies because they essentially guard their interests.

I mean…did you read the article? It glosses over the western involvement in the coup and goes on to paint everything with the usual “le ebil Russkies” brush. Warriors of light from CIA are just helping a sOvErEiGn NaTiOn to defend itself from the Horde and the pre-Euromaidan government was OBVIOUSLY pro-Kremlin anyway. It’s the kind of bullshit their audience eats up and begs for more.
