    I suspect even with inflation, it’s more valuable now than when it was purchased. Plus, many die-hard Floridians are looking to move a bit more inland, so non-coastal property values may increase over time.

    Let’s also not forget the immense arrogance of conservative politicians and investors who may see this as an opportunity to open their own theme parks on that land, filled with bible-based bigotry and unsafe carnival rides.
