Mobile phones are anxiety machines. But society says I need one.
I would be fine with just a landline at home. But it sure is nice to be able to look up stuff or get directions on the go sometimes.
I like how half this site consists of people complaining that the economy is so wrecked that they can’t pay their bill or afford rent … And the other half is people panicking because they can’t find the do not disturb button on their phone.
