I’m one of those people. Fuck group chats, all my homies hate group chats.
The first thing I do in any new chat app is disable read receipts and typing indicators. That shit is creepy.
They both make it even more stressful to be introverted.
I find the typing indicator useful in chats that are happening in real time as it helps to pace the conversation. Read receipts I don’t really like, sent and delivered are all I need.
