this might be a stupid question but: when stealing stuff from bad companies, woudlnt they still get paid since the store gotta replace their stock n they still got the money?
The store might have insurance for that, but yeah in the end they are the ones that have to deal with the loss. Some just take the hit to their profits while others try to get it back from costumers or employees. Long term they could stop their most stolen products, which could be bad for the “bad company” as they lose distribution. But this scenario is unlikely as there are not really any coordinated stealing campaigns
